the man in the high castle

This weekend, Amazon is holding its first ever Preview Weekend, and it's already started. Starting at midnight last night until 11.59pm on Sunday, viewers in the UK and US can watch the pilot and second episode of Amazon Original series 'The Man in the High Castle' for free, without having to be a member of Amazon Prime.

After the weekend, the second episode will stay available for Prime members. The rest of the episodes will follow on November 20th.

Based on the Philip K. Dick novel of the same name, 'The Man in the High Castle' is set in an alternative universe in which the Allied Powers lost World War II. The pilot was part of Amazon Pilots Season, and it was commissioned a full series.

Here's the trailer.

The show was developed by Frank Spotnitz and is executive produced by Ridley Scott, David Zucker (of 'Airplane!' and 'Naked Gun' fame), Isa Dick Hackett and David Semal.

The second episode will also be screened at MCM London Comic Con today at 1pm in ExCel's Gold Theatre, followed by the first episode of 'Mr. Robot' (which is already available on Amazon Prime Instant Video).
