Christmas is almost here, so what are you going to watch? It might be too late to take out a Sky subscription, but you can still enjoy a host of its best films and TV shows on Now TV.

Plus there's a ton of good stuff on Amazon Prime Instant Video and Netflix. Fire up the broadband and get streaming!

A Very Murray Christmas' (Netflix)

Bill Murray hosts an old-school Christmas special, featuring a host of famous faces, including George Clooney, Miley Cyrus, Chris Rock and Amy Poehler, to name a few.

It's directed by Sofia Coppola, who directed Murray in 'Lost in Translation'. And there's even a storyline of sorts: Murray is hosting a Christmas special, but New York has ground to a halt because of a blizzard.

Will his guests make it there on time?

Selma (Amazon Prime Instant Video)

An epic drama focussing on Martin Luther King's campaign to secure equal votes by marching from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, in 1965.

David Oyelowo gives a stunning turn as King, while Tim Roth, Carmen Ejogo and Oprah Winfrey provide fantastic support.

Fungus the Bogeyman (Now TV)

Timothy Spall takes the title role in this charming family adventure based on Raymond Briggs' book of the same name. Just don't watch it while eating your sprouts.

Available from Boxing Day.

Transparent' season 2 (Amazon Prime Instant Video)

The second series of Amazon's Emmy-winning comedy/drama will make you laugh and think just as much as the first.

The Pfefferman family is still adjusting to life since their middle-aged came out as a transgender woman called Maura.

The core cast of Jeffrey Tambor, Gaby Hoffmann, Jay Duplass, Judith Light and Amy Landecker are joined by guest stars Angelica Huston, Tig Notaro and Bradley Whitford.

3Marvel's Agent Carter (Now TV)

Peggy Carter might be best known as Captain America's love interest in his standalone films, but she's not one to be defined by her man.

Indeed, the highly-trained field agent has got her own series. She's been relegated to boring admin work during a covert operation, but thankfully a sinister threat rears its ugly head, and she has to call upon her action skills to liven up proceedings.

Available from December 24th.

3Mozart in the Jungle' season 2 (Amazon Prime Instant Video)

You thought classical music was all ball gowns and refinement? Think again.

This series – based on a bestselling book of the same name – lifts the lid on the world of classical music, exposing the drugs and debauchery at its core.

The second series consists of 10 episodes, and stars Gael Garcia Bernal and Saffron Burrows, with guest stars Gretchen Mol, Dermot Mulroney and Esia Morales.

You'll never see the last night of the proms in the same way. Available from December 30th.
