Canadian sci-fi action series 'Killjoys' has come to British screens courtesy of UK channel SyFy.

'Killjoys' is knockabout sci-fi fare, about as far from the noble intentions of 'Star Trek' as you can get. It stars Hannah John-Kamen ('Misfits', 'Black Mirror') as Dutch, alongside Aaron Ashmore and Luke Macfarlane.

The three are bounty hunters employed by the Reclamation Apprehension Coalition. The show follows them as they travel between hospitable moons chasing down marks in a system known as the Quad.

The first series, the initial episode of which aired last night, consists of 10 episodes, and a second series is already on the way. Filming started on the second series last December.

You can catch 'Killjoys' on SyFy and SyFy HD on Mondays at 8pm. The channels are available on Sky (channels 114 and 201), Virgin Media (135 and 165), BT TV (319 and 375) and TalkTalk TV (319).
