Netflix has released the first trailer for the new Ricky Gervais film 'Special Correspondents'.

The film stars Gervais and Eric Bana as radio journalists who are pretending to broadcast from Ecuador, when in reality, they're holed up in an apartment in New York.

Things go wrong when the pair are believed kidnapped, and so have to go to Ecuador or face jail.

Naturally, they try to keep up the ruse. Whether they will manage or not, we'll have to wait and see.

It looks more action-packed than Gervais' other films, with what looks like proper action set pieces. Undoubtedly much humour will be wrung from the prospect of two cowardly fakes thrown into a real-life war zone.

It's a Netflix Original film, so you won't see it anywhere else. It will be available to watch from April 29th.

Netflix recently paid $90 million for the rights to the new Will Smith film 'Bright', a cop thriller with fantastical elements.
