new now tv box

Sky's Now TV Box was already a steal, but now this offer makes it even more of a bargain.

Argos is offering the box with a six-month Entertainment Pass for just £19.95. That's half its usual price. The box itself usually costs £15, and the Entertainment Pass is £6.99 a month, so it's quite a steal.

The Entertainment Pass gives you access to 11 pay-TV channels, including MTV, Comedy Central, Discovery Channel, Sky 1, Fox and Sky Atlantic. You can also watch catch-up services like BBC iPlayer, and use web apps like YouTube and Spotify through Now TV.

Sky is prepping a next-gen Now TV Box, that'll come complete with a hard drive for storing shows. That would make it essentially a cut-down version of its Sky+ set-top box, though one that's only able to connect through the internet.

We're expecting an announcement later this summer, or sometime in the autumn. Stay tuned.
