Cult US drama 'Gilmore Girls' is coming to UK Netflix from Friday. The news comes ahead of the new series – the first since the show ended back in 2007 – which will come exclusively to Netflix on November 22nd.
The seven series comprise 153 episodes, which means fans can binge-watch themselves silly over the coming days.
The series follows the mother-daughter relationship of Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) Gilmore in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut. It touches on issues like ambition, education, work, family and questions of class. And plenty of plots come from Lorelai's thorny relationship with her wealthy, status-obsessed parents.
The four new episodes will comprise a series called 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life', and will include returning stars Graham and Bledel, plus original cast members Scott Patterson, Melissa McCarthy, Keiko Agena and Yanic Truesdale.
Each episode will last 90 minutes, and will be set during one of the four seasons.
