a league of their own

James Corden and co are returning to Sky. The broadcaster has commissioned another series of 'A League of Their Own: US Road Trip', which sees Corden, Jack Whitehall, Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff travel across America.

Corden will set the gang challenges in New York and Miami, before they return to his adopted hometown of Los Angeles.

It promises to combine "stunning locations and exhilarating challenges with an insider's look at all the hilarious antics the boys get up to en route".

Sky has also greenlit another three series of its panel show stablemate, 'A League of Their Own'. The eleventh series will air on Sky 1 this autumn, with Corden on hosting duties alongside team captains Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff and permanent panellist Jack Whitehall.

The road trip series will go into production around the same time, in the autumn.

"'A League of Their Own' is totally on fire at the moment and James, Freddie, Jamie and Jack are on such brilliant form," said Adam MacDonald, director of Sky 1. "Ratings and critical response from the studio shows have never been better and the awesome Road Trip specials have broken all records. I can't wait to see what James puts the guys through in the second Road Trip outing and I'm so so pleased to have secured another three years of the genre-defining studio shows for our Sky customers."
