Apple has posted the first trailer for its documentary about Cash Money, the US record label that's home to Drake, Lil' Wayne and Nicki Minaj.
Called 'The Cash Money Story: Before Anythang', it's a classic rags to riches tale that features some pretty fruity language. You can watch the trailer here.
It's executive produced by the label's founders, brothers Ronald 'Slim' Williams and Bryan 'Birdman' Williams. But it looks far from a glossed over affair, wth plenty of tragedy to go with all the bling.
It'll be available this autumn exclusively on Apple Music.
Apple is working on two other shows that we know about. One is the life story of current Apple executive and rap star Dr. Dre – it'll be interesting to see if they keep in Dre's less savoury incidents for which he has previously apologised. The other is a reality show called 'Planet of the Apps', that sees Gwyneth Paltrow and Will.i.am offer guidance to a horde of app makers trying to make it big in the App Store.
Despite these efforts, Apple has made clear that it's not becoming a studio in its own right.
