'Game of Thrones' season seven is one of the most hotly-anticipated TV series of all time. And now we've had our first look at it.
Well, our first glimpse, anyway.
A teaser for the series aired on the HBO channel in the US. Forming part of a montage that was shown during the most recent episode of 'Westworld', the teaser featured three familiar faces: sisters Sansa and Arya Stark, and their half-brother-cum-cousin Jon Snow.
The most intriguing of the three shots is that of Arya on horseback, wearing her full winter garb. Is she, the youngest of the Stark daughters, finally going to reunite with her siblings? Or is something more sinister afoot?
It was previously reported that series seven would be broadcast later than the usual spring slot. This is because filming had to be delayed in order to achieve the authentic wintery weather conditions. Hence series seven isn't expected to air until May or June.
It will only consist of seven episodes, down from the usual 10. This is in order to eke out the remaining hours of story into two series rather than one.
Series eight is expected to air in 2018.
