'Stranger Things' season two is one of the hottest-anticipated series at the moment, and now Netflix has released the first teaser. The good news is it's as creepy as you'd expect.

"The world is turning upside down" the teaser proclaims, before revealing the release date as Halloween this year.

It opens with a vintage advert for Eggo (Eleven's favourite breakfast food), and goes on to show our three pre-teen heroes riding their bikes while dressed in authentic 'Ghostbusters' clobber.

Also included are hellish drawings, Eleven opening her eyes, and a horizon that looks like it's been infested by the demons of hell.

Halloween can't come soon enough.

The series is set in the 1980s, and is a paean to supernatural thrillers of that era. It focuses on the disappearance of a child in a small town in America. The series is a Netflix original, and was critically acclaimed when it launched last year.
