Sky is rolling out its voice search feature for Sky Q. The feature was announced at the end of last year, but has only just become functional.

To activate it, press and hold the microphone button on the side of the Sky Q touch remote, then say what you want to watch – "the Liverpool game", say, or "'Fortitude'".

One neat feature is the ability to use film quotes to find your flick. Say "Say hello to my little friend," for example, and 'Scarface' should pop up. Or "I'll have what she's having" should bring up 'When Harry Met Sally'.

You can also search for "comedy movies" to explore that genre, or "live cricket on this weekend" to see what's available cricket-wise. Or get more specific by saying you want "Tom Hanks movies rated five stars".

You can also search just by actor, director, or a combination of them.

My Q is also new. It's the new Sky Q homepage, and will feature recommendations based on your household's viewing habits, as well as "top new series from all channels". Continue Watching will let viewers pick up where they left off watching a series.

Navigation has also been simplified, with the Recordings and TV Guide sections just one swipe away from the My Q homepage.

You can also watch Facebook videos using the My Photos app, and share Facebook memories on the big screen.
