To watch top-flight football in this country, you need deep pockets. Well not anymore, as BT is offering up two of the year's biggest matches for free.

It will air both the Champions League and Europa League finals for free on YouTube, so anyone can tune in, even if they're not a BT Sport subscriber or even a BT TV customer at all.

They will also be broadcast on the BT Showcase HD TV channel, on the BT website and through the BT Sport app. You can even watch the Champions League final in VR, using the BT Sport Virtual Reality app, and in 4K on YouTube or on the BT Sport Ultra HD channel.

To get the full benefit of 4K, your monitor/TV and internet connection will need to be up to the task. 4K has four times as many pixels as high definition, making for a much sharper image. It's recommended your broadband connection is at least 15Mb/s to watch in 4K.

The Europa League final is on 24th May, and sees Manchester United take on Ajax in Stockholm. The Champions League final takes place on 3rd June in Cardiff, and sees Real Madrid face Juventus.
