Sky has turned the epic Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko fight into a virtual reality film.

The 12-minute film was created by Sky's in-house VR team, Sky VR Studios. It shows both fighters preparing for the fight, then follows them through the 90,000-strong crowd into the ring.

Once there, the action gets really up close and personal, thanks to footage filmed from eight 360-degree cameras.

The fight is widely regarded as one of the best heavyweight bouts ever held on UK shores. It's notable not only for the fact it lasted until the 11th round, but also because it was the first time in his professional career that Joshua has been knocked down.

"There's no doubt that this was one of the all-time great heavyweight fights, and it was incredible to be given such unprecedented access to the action," said Neil Graham, executive producer of Sky VR Studios. "The resulting film takes viewers closer to the action than ever before – closer than Arnie's ringside seat!"

You can download the Sky VR app from Google Play or the Apple App Store. You can either watch on your smartphone, or by using a VR headset like the Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR or Google Daydream.
