HBO's 'Silicon Valley' is getting another series, but without one of its major characters.

T.J. Miller, who plays incubator head Erlich Bachman, is leaving the show. According to HBO, the decision is a "mutual agreement".

No more details were given.

Miller's star is in ascendancy of late. He'll soon be appearing in Hollywood fare like 'The Emoji Movie', 'Deadpool 2' and 'Ready Player One'.

However, he's also had his share of controversy, making racist jokes while hosting award ceremonies and getting into a fight with an Uber driver.

The tech satire airs on Sky Atlantic in the UK. It's written by 'Beavis and But-Head' creator Mike Judge and Alec Berg, who has also written for 'Seinfeld' and directed episodes of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'.

Who knows how they'll write Erlich out of the show, but you can guarantee he won't go quietly...
