'The Grand Tour' is returning to Amazon Prime Video. The second series of the motoring show starts on 8th December, Amazon has announced.

The show is the jewel in Amazon's original programming crown. It paid big money to nab the duties of the ex-'Top Gear' team of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, along with ex-'Top Gear' producer Andy Wilman.

The second series starts just over a year since the show debuted on Amazon.

The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer, which you can see below.

As you can see, it'll offer the usual mix of high-octane thrills and blokey humour.

The series spans five different continents, with filming locations including Croatia, Mozambique, Dubai, Spain, Switzerland, Colorado and New York.

The presenters have been through their share of scrapes lately. Clarkson was hospitalised with pneumonia, while Hammond was injured during a serious crash while filming. No doubt both incidents will prove rich veins for humour during the second series.

One episode will be available per week, with every episode screened so far available on-demand.
