Wondering what's on terrestrial TV this Christmas? Check out the best of what's on offer from ITV and Channel 4.
The Great British Bake Off
It's only been on Channel 4 for one season, but already it feels as familiar as ever. This Christmas special brings back bakers from series past, including Val, Selasi, Paul, Benjamin and Rav. Chances are they'll be baking Christmas-themed treats, though we wouldn't put it past Paul to bake another bread lion.
Victoria Christmas Special
There's no word on what to expect from the festive special, but judging from the series, we imagine it will be lusciously produced and suitably romantic. (All creator Daisy Goodwin has revealed is that it will be "utterly brilliant and there'll be a lot of snow in it.") Jenna Coleman and Tom Hughes will reprise their roles as Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
Miranda Does Christmas
Miranda Hart has foregone her home at the BBC for Channel 4 this Christmas. This special promises to be a "raucous Christmas party with some very special guests", along with tips on how to survive the festive period. Whether they're actually useful tips, or ridiculous Viz Top Tips-style advice, we'll have to wait and see.
Travel Man: 48 Hours in Hong Kong
Richard Ayoade has scored quite a coup for this episode, bringing along none other than Hollywood star Jon Hamm. Well, Hamm is a fan of British comedy, so it makes sense. The two will spend a weekend in Hong Kong together, exploring the sights and generally larking about. Nice work if you can get it.
