Netflix's 'Lost in Space' remake finally has an airing date. The long-awaited series will start on 13th April. Here's a teaser trailer.
It's an altogether more serious affair than the original 60s series. Though the premise remains the same: a pioneering family of space colonialists struggle to survive in a strange and hostile universe after their ship is thrown off course.
It will also encompass some of mankind's learnings about space in the half-century or so since the original series aired.
The series will star Parker Posey ('Superman Returns') as Dr. Smith, Max Jenkins ('Sense8') plays the child Will Robinson, while Molly Parker ('Deadwood') plays Maureen Robinson.
The series was first mooted back in 2015, so fans will be eager to find out if it's been worth the wait.
