Netflix has released the first trailer for the last series of its political thriller 'House of Cards'. As expected, it stars Robin Wright (who played the First lady) as the main character, replacing the disgraced Kevin Spacey.
Spacey was forced to leave the show last year following allegations of sexual harassment. He played machiavellian president Frank Underwood, with Robin Wright as his wife Claire.
There's no word on how Spacey's character has been written out of the show. But it's widely assumed that the plot will see Claire take over, becoming America's first female commander-in-chief. At least, the trailer hints that's the case.
Netflix axed another project starring Spacey – the film 'Gore', which starred him as writer Gore Vidal. Filming was already complete, but following the allegations, the streaming service binned the film.
