Wrestling comedy drama 'Glow' is coming back for a second series. The action returns to Netflix on 29th June.
'Glow' stands for Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. It's set in the real-life female-only wrestling league of the 1980s. And Netflix has just dropped a teaser clip to get you in the mood.
Series two sees the wrestlers have to confront the realities of their newfound fame. Ruth and Debbie tackle their problematic friendship, while Sam has to adjust to life with her teenage daughter at home.
As you'd expect, a lot of the action takes place out of the ring, as the series deals with social issues and the personal dramas of its protagonists.
'Glow' is just one of Netflix's stable of original content. This year alone, it plans to spend $8 billion on original content, with around 80 original films set to launch.
A recent report said most Netflix viewers aren't that interested in original content. But that hasn't dimmed Netflix's ambitions one bit.
