dc universe movie

DC's streaming service had something of a soft launch a couple of weeks ago, with an evening hosted by Kevin Smith. Now this Saturday sees its full launch.

But for its first original show, fans will have to wait a little longer. Titans, the service's first original show, will premiere a couple of weeks later at New York Comic-Con, and will come to the service on 12th October.

The service plans to launch more original shows in future, and will also give viewers access to DC's vast back catalogue of comic book heroes and villains, including Superman and Batman.

It will also host a daily news programme to keep viewers up to speed on all things DC.

DC Universe won't be available in the UK at launch. We're still waiting for news of a release date here.
