stranger things game

There’s already been a mobile game based on the paranormal Netflix hit Stranger Things, and now a console game is on the way.

Show creators The Duffer Brothers announced the game at The Game Awards in Los Angeles. It’s called Stranger Things 3, and is designed to tie in with the third series of the sci-fi show, which will debut next year.

There’s not a lot of detail to go on, but it will come to “all platforms”, which presumably includes the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It also has a nice pixellated look, which is in keeping with the series' 1980s’ setting.

It’s made by BonusXP, the studio behind the Stranger Things mobile game.

Look out for it next year.
