EE broadband subscribers who still use their email account provided by Orange have been advised the service will terminate in May.

According to EE, since Orange Email was first introduced, many different providers have launched free email services that boast more advanced functionality.

As a result, the number of people using Orange Email has dwindled over the years, reports.

EE has therefore taken the decision to close the service on May 31st so customers can enjoy a better email experience.

The company also said that by terminating Orange Email, it can "focus on providing our customers with the best possible products and services".

The move will affect anybody with the following addresses:
