Apple is reportedly planning on adding a new ‘jet white’ version of its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Supply chain sources have apparently mooted the plans, which would help Apple boost the profile of its flagship device. There’s currently no word on whether this model will launch before the busy Christmas period.
Apple offers five different colours for its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7: rose gold, gold, silver, black and jet black. The latter has garnered the most attention since both devices launched in early September.
It’s worth treating this information with caution, as supply chain sources can often serve up plans which never actually make it to market.
If it does offer a jet white model, Apple will be hoping to tempt consumers who aren’t taken by the Google Pixel or Pixel XL, or are looking for an alternative to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7, which was discontinued last month.
