The iPhone 8 launch event is imminent. That much is certain.
And while Apple's top–end smartphone will doubtless grab all the headlines, it won’t be the only product debuting at the showcase.
In fact, Apple appears to be planning a deluge of new kit, taking in a 4K edition of its TV set top box and revamped versions of the iPhone 7 and 7s.
Here are the five things to look out for on 12th September.
1 iPhone 8
The big one. Apple’s tenth-anniversary iPhone has been teased and leaked for so long that it almost feels like it's here already.
The updated device is believed to feature an all–new design, dispensing with the physical home button that's been a staple of the iPhone range since day one.
In comes a new, bezel–free design, with a vertical dual lens camera, 3D facial recognition and a special function area designed to act as an on–screen home key.
Bigger, bolder and cooler than its predecessors, this will be 2017’s most in-demand gadget bar none.

2 iPhone 7s/7s Plus
Apple is readying two other iPhone models for release in September.
The so–called iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus are thought to be upgraded versions of last year’s models.
They're likely to retain a similar design (meaning the home button stays), but switch to a glass rather than aluminium frame.
This will allow for wireless charging, made possible via a dedicated charging plate. Speaking of which...

3 Apple wireless iPhone charger
For a long time it was assumed Apple would only offer wireless charging with the iPhone when it could suss out a clever, over–the–air method.
That has not come to pass, and now it’s said to be switching to a new charging plate or mat.
The iPhone 8, iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus all feature a special internal coil, which will power them up whenever they're placed on the special mat.
This is something Samsung has done for years, so Apple's take on the technology will need to be smarter and cooler in order to attract interest.
It’s not thought the charging mat will be bundled with the new iPhones.
So make sure you budget for it. And expect to pay an Apple premium too.
4 Apple Watch Series 3
The Apple Watch Series 3 is likely to be an evolutionary step rather than a major, revolutionary overhaul.
While the design is set to stay the same, the internal specs are all set to change.
The biggest improvement centres on the LTE 4G chip, which will allow the Apple Watch to make and take VoIP calls and act as a standalone device, without the need to take an iPhone out with you in order for it to work properly.
Frankly, this is the version of the Apple Watch we’ve wanted from the start.
5 Apple TV 4K
It’s not just about phones and watches. Apple is apparently priming a new version of its set top TV box, with 4K streaming capabilities.
The move means Apple will be able to offer eyeball stroking Ultra HD flicks, heralding a potential more into TV streaming, in a bid to take on Netflix and Amazon.
