We7 CEO Steve Purdham has announced that on top of offering a paid subscription to customers who want to get rid of the ads on the music streaming service which acts as an alternative to Spotify, his firm is developing an iPhone app which will offer similar functionality.
Monthly payments will allow users to get uninterrupted digital music direct to their computers from February this year, although Mr Purdham said that the pricing of subscriptions would be revealed later in the month.
Mr Purdham also indicated that the We7 app was just days away from being ready to submit to Apple for approval.
The We7 app will rival Spotify with similar mobile streaming functions, along with the capability to stream music ahead of time and listen to it later when your phone is not connected to the internet.
We7 apps have also be planned for the Google Android platform and other popular smartphone operating systems, for release at an unconfirmed point in 2010.
