Orange has revamped its iPhone 4 deals in a bid to appeal to the massed ranks of web happy Apple smartphone users.
Broadly speaking, the new iPhone Extra offers offset lower texts and calls limits with a higher data allowance and sweeteners such as free access to the Orange SatNav service, which could come in handy for frequent travellers.
So where the £35 per month price point for the handset previously offered 600 minutes and 500Mb of web use, the latest version replaces this with 400 minutes and a handy 750MB of data.
The carrier will also be offering 50 inclusive MMS messages every month across the new plans, so customers will be able to share pictures with their friends and family without adding to their bill.
Orange's decision to refresh its offering comes amid expectations that mobile web use will continue to soar in the next few months as the spread of internet enabled smartphones to the mass market continues unabated.
