Three has joined Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone in announcing price points for the iPhone 4S, as pre-orders for the fifth-gen Apple smartphone start in earnest.
The carrier is offering the 16GB version on a free phone deal at £43 per month over a two-year contract. But if that’s the model you’re interested in you’ll need to drop in to a store to get it. Three won’t be selling the entry-level edition online – initially at least.
The 32GB iPhone 4S is available online on a range of plans, however there’s currently no free phone contract option.
Even so, there’s some keenly priced deals on offer, perhaps the pick of which includes a £90 initial fee for the phone and a £43 monthly charge thereafter.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, a free phone deal isn’t up for grabs for the 64GB monster storage iteration. If pressed to pick the best deal for this flavour iPhone 4S, though, we’d probably plump for Three’s £43 per month price point with a £180 upfront cost.
After a wait lasting the best part of 18 months, Apple finally unveiled its latest smartphone this week, with a feature set that takes in an eight megapixel camera, the muscular dual core A5 processor that starred in the iPad 2 and the potentially game-changing Siri voice commands app.
