iPhone 5 price cut on O2

O2 and Tesco Phone Shop have cut the asking price of the iPhone 5, as part of a limited period offer.

Under the terms of the promotion, customers who sign up for the iPhone 5 on a £32 per month contract with O2 through Tesco Phone Shop will not be eligible to pay the standard £100 upfront charge.

As well as a free phone, the 24-month contract provides 300 call minutes and 500Mb of data per month, plus unlimited texts.

To qualify for the money-off offer, though, you'll need to sign up before February 24th.

Released back in September, the sixth-gen iPhone is 18 per cent lighter and 20 per cent slimmer than the iPhone 4S and features a larger four-inch Retina display that brings it more in lie with its Android rivals.

An A6 processor that's twice as fast as the A5 chipset that powered the iPhone 4S is also on board, as is an eight-megapixel iSight camera with enhanced HD video recording.
