Apple is plotting a golden version of its forthcoming iPhone 5S, cramming in a massive 128GB of storage to boot. That’s the word from renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who’s got a strong track record of predicting forthcoming Apple announcements.
The KGI Securities man says Apple will look to move away from the traditional black and white colour options with its top-end device, while also making its new budget iPhone 5C is expected to be launched available in an array of colours.
Kuo’s prediction of a 128GB iPhone 5S also seems likely.
With storage getting cheaper and demands for more space to stash apps and video growing, this seems like a smart move for Cupertino. It’s already done the same thing with its iPad range.
The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C are expected to launch on September 10th, with recent inside gossip suggesting Apple is ling up an event for that date.
