The iPhone XS, XS Max and XR are exactly three months old today, but we’re already wondering what Apple has in store next. Now a new render shows us what to expect.
The mock-up shows a notch-free design – there’s no unsightly module housing the front-facing camera. Instead, the handset gets a couple of ‘hole punch’ holes, which are becoming all the rage nowadays. These are less obtrusive than a notch, and mean more screen, and therefore a more immersive viewing experience.
That also allows the phone to have no bezels, giving it an all-screen front.
The video shows a triple camera system on the rear of the device, as seen on the Huawei P20 Pro earlier this year.
It also gets the same brushed metal edges as the 2018 iPad Pro.
The video is the work on Concept Creator. It’s just a render, and is based on rumour and speculation, so the finished product could look rather different. But even at this early stage, it seems next year’s handset is worth getting excited about.
