Three news

3 has held onto its title of the UK's top mobile broadband provider, following the 2010 YouGov DongleTracker survey.

The internet service provider, which also topped the YouGov charts in 2009, was found to outperform its industry rivals in terms of 3G network quality.

More than 2,000 customers from 3, Vodafone, Orange, O2 and T-Mobile, plus other smaller dongle providers, were questioned as part of the survey.

UK consumers rated 3 as offering the fastest connection speeds, as well as being number one for reliability, ease of use and value for money.

Joe Parker, Director of Mobile Broadband at 3, commented that the firm was "thrilled" at the latest accolade.

"We're always looking at how we can evolve our offerings to best meet our customers' needs and hope that we can continue to impress them," he stated.

Smartphone users, including iPhone customers, also voted 3 as having the fastest and best-value network in the YouGov poll.
