This year’s version of the Moto X budget phone is due to be officially revealed in early June.
But for those of you who can't wait that long, Moto fan site HellomotoHK has got hold of some hands-on preview images of the new device, which appears to come with a host of new features and an updated look.
The Moto X 2016’s biggest draw is undoubtedly its fancy all–metal exterior. The camera also appears to have had a major upgrade, with what appears to be dots for laser–guided autofocus.
Up front, Moto’s parent company Lenovo has finally added a fingerprint scanner. That means the new Moto X should work securely with Android Pay when Google’s mobile wallet and contactless payments service launches in the UK later this summer.
Although specs haven’t been revealed, previous rumours have pointed to the Moto X 2016 coming with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with 4GB of RAM.
The device is due to get its official unveiling at a special event on June 9th.
