Sky Cinema is to launch a dedicated Christmas channel full of much-loved festive films.

Sky Cinema Christmas launches on November 8th and will run on channel 303 until New Year's Eve.

This means Sky customers can enjoy a host of festive favourites in the run-up to Christmas and over the holiday season, including Love Actually, It's a Wonderful Life, The Polar Express and The Grinch, at no extra cost.

Film fans will also be able to view Sky Cinema Classics between December 18th and December 26th.

This will offer iconic movies including The Godfather, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Italian Job over the Christmas season, along with the perennial festive favourite The Great Escape.

In addition, Sky Cinema Musicals will run from December 27th until January 7th, featuring the likes of The Phantom of the Opera, Frozen and Grease.

All three of the new channels will be available to Sky Cinema customers at no extra cost.

Ian Lewis, Group Director at Sky Cinema, commented: "Millions share in the tradition of watching movies at Christmas and this year, Sky Cinema has one of its strongest ever line-ups for the festive season.

"With a new premiere every day, including the best family and action blockbusters of 2017, and three dedicated channels Sky Cinema Christmas, Sky Cinema Classics and Sky Cinema Musicals, there is something for everyone to enjoy."

Sky customers can purchase the Sky Cinema service for £10 a month, while it is also available via On Demand and NOW TV.
