UK consumers will be able to get their hands on Samsung’s projector smartphone, the company confirmed at the Mobile World Congress.
Samsung revealed plans to release a European edition of its Show W7900 mobile phone at the world’s largest mobile phone expo in Barcelona.
The phone’s USP is that it houses technology typically used in mini projectors that can be harnessed to project images up to 50 inches in diameter.
Other known details about the phone, which will be rebranded as the Show i7410, include an OLED touchscreen display with flick navigation and a five megapixel camera.
A concrete release date and price point for the phone has yet to be established
The MWC also saw a slew of other handsets unveiled by Samsung, including the Beat series of phones that house music functions and allow owners to apply scratching and samples to onboard music.
Additionally, Samsung showcased its environmentally friendly Blue Earth handset that harnesses solar power and unveiled plans for three Android mobile phones.
