Samsung is allegedly set to expand its Galaxy range of smartphones with the Galaxy S Pro after technical details about the hardware of this mobile phone emerged online.
Reports suggest that the Galaxy S Pro will have the Super AMOLED touchscreen display that Samsung has been using in many of its latest high end smartphones.
It will also sport 4G connectivity, which singles it out as a mobile destined for launch in the US where 4G networking is already available in some cities.
The 'Pro' part of the name follows the trend of indicating the presence of a full QWERTY keypad and a five megapixel camera on the rear will probably support high definition recording if Samsung's other recent efforts are any indication.
The Samsung Galaxy S Pro will use a 1GHz processor provided by chip manufacturer ARM and it will combine this with a decent 512MB of on-board RAM, which should help with multitasking.
The leaked handset was apparently a prototype and, as such, most expect it to come with the latest version of Android and Samsung's TouchWiz user interface once it is ready for full launch.
