3 is now offering the Samsung Galaxy S for a wallet-friendly £25 per month on the Text 500 plan, as networks clear the decks for the slew of next-gen Android smarties due to launch this year.
The 24-month tariff includes a free handset, plus 500 call minutes per month, unlimited text messages and two months free access to music streaming service Spotify. You’ll also get a monthly data allowance of 1GB so you can make most of the Galaxy S’s 3G internet capabilities and download apps and a free pay as you go SIM for a friend.
Widely regarded as one of the best Android smartphones so far, the Galaxy S features a four-inch Super AMOLED screen, five-megapixel camera with autofocus and video and image editing software.
As with all Android phones, the Galaxy S also offers tens of thousands of free and paid for apps from the Android Market download store, plus Google apps, such as Facebook and YouTube, preinstalled.
Alongside the new Galaxy S price point, 3 has announced it has refurbished iPhones back in stock. The 16GB model starts at £30 per month over a two year contract with a one-off charge of £99.
