Three has cut the cost of owning the Samsung Galaxy S2, offering would-be buyers savings of just shy of £200.
The carrier is now offering Sammy's blockbuster blower for £27 per month on the Text 500 plan over a 24-month contract – spelling a saving of £8 per month or £192 over the course of deal term.
This entitles takers to a free handset, plus 500 call minutes, 5,000 texts and 1GB of data per month.
Three has also trimmed the monthly asking price of the S2 on the One Plan by £5 to £30 per month.
As with the Text 500, the 24-month contract includes a free phone, but comes with beefier monthly allowances of 2,000 minutes, 5,000 texts and all-you-can-eat data.
Pegged as the smartphone that enabled Samsung to steal the Android crown from rivals HTC, the S2 teams Android 2.3 out of the box with an eight megapixel camera and a 4.3-inch SuperAMOLED Plus screen.
A 1.5GHz dual-core processor is also on board, as is a secondary snapper for video calls, 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot to allow users to boost capacity by up to 32GB.
Three's S2 promo comes amid mounting speculation over the impending release of a sequel. For the skinny on what to expect, check out our Galaxy S3 rumours round-up.
