The Samsung Galaxy S3 officially goes on sale today, ending an epic 15-month wait for the successor to the 20 million-plus-selling Galaxy S2.
The handset is on all major UK carriers and retailers on a range of contracts, price options and monthly allowances.
And while nominating a deal as the best is largely subjective, it’s hard to argue with mobiles.co.uk’s offer. For £26 per month over 24 months, you’ll nab yourself a free phone and monthly allowances of 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data.
Billed as the first-ever smartphone to be "inspired by nature and designed for humans", the Galaxy S3 features a touchy-feely new take on the Android operating system aimed at making it more user-friendly.
This equates to features such as the Siri-inspired voice-controlled digital assistant S-Voice. And then there’s SmartStay, which uses the phone’s front-facing camera to monitor users’ facial movements, in so doing ensuring it won’t go into sleep mode while you’re midway through a movie.
Elsewhere, the S3 rocks a none-more-Samsung 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD screen, an eight-megapixel camera, a 1.9-megapixel secondary snapper and a ripplingly powerful quad-core 1.4GHz processor.
