The just-unveiled Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is already available pre-order in the UK through Phones 4u, as the phone-maker and retailer moved fast to make the most out of the phone’s pre-iPhone 5S window of publicity.
The handset is up for grabs from the site on a range of 4G and 3G carriers (EE, Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile), with Phones 4u pledging to deliver the Note 3 on the day of release (September 25ht) if you get your order in online now.
All customers who pre-order the phone on a 3G plan qualify for a free Galaxy Note 3 flip case worth £39.99. The retail giant will also throw in a token for £100 off the new Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch, which pairs with the Note 3.
Grab the phablet on a 4G plan and you’ll get those two freebies, plus a free wireless speaker (normally priced £120).
Phones 4u’s cheapest Note 3 contract that includes a free phone is priced £47 per month, which is available from Orange and Vodafone.
Scott Hooton, Chief Commercial Officer at Phones 4u, said: “We’re hugely excited to welcome the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in our stores and online, joining our extensive next-generation range of smartphones.
“This latest Samsung handset boasts an impressive specification that will no doubt continue the legacy firmly established by the Galaxy smartphone range, that our customers enjoy and love.”
Showcased yesterday at the IFA show in Berlin, the Note 3’s spec sheet takes in an enhanced S-Pen stylus and new interface that means the pen is now used more for accessing features and controlling the phone.
It also features a larger 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Full HD screen, Android 4.3 out of the box and a quad-core processor.
