Samsung’s Galaxy S9 looks set to feature dual SIM technology, allowing users to install two new SIM cards and switch between them at will.

The news comes from eagle–eyed tech watchers who spotted references to dual SIM editions of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ on support pages for Samsung's German site.

How's the Galaxy S9 shaping up? Here's what we know so far.

The tech, which allows users to operate two separate numbers on one device and flip between networks for better coverage, featured in 2016’s Galaxy S7. However, not on the version sold in Europe.

This latest leak suggests that the feature may be a core part of any models that hit these shores when they launch at Mobile World Congress on 25th February.

Samsung has invited media to a special event in Barcelona on that date.

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ are due to cleave to the same design as 2017’s Galaxy S8, although the screen may take up more space, with internal improvements and a special, variable aperture camera also being primed.
