Consumers signing up for BT's Broadband and Evening & Weekend Calls package can now enjoy three months free at the start of their deal.

The broadband bundle, which normally costs £13.99 per month, is available to new customers for nothing until the fourth month of their contract.

All subscribers are required to pay is line rental, which is available from BT from £9.49, enabling them to make significant initial savings.

The 18-month broadband package offers 20Mb downloads, a 10GB monthly usage allowance and a free home hub router.

Consumers can make unlimited calls to UK landlines on evenings and weekends, while they also benefit from free Wi-Fi minutes.

Basic security software, 5GB of secure online storage space and a free email account are also included.

BT is currently rolling out fibre-optic broadband to support its new Infinity service, which will offer download speeds of up to 40Mb to subscribers.
