BT will run its current three months free broadband deal until December 20th, the internet service provider (ISP) has announced.

Launched this week, the ISP's autumn deal enables new subscribers to make significant savings on BT Total Broadband and Unlimited UK Evening and Weekend calls.

The broadband package is ordinarily priced at £13.99 per month, meaning consumers can make immediate savings of more than £40 when they sign up.

During this introductory period, the only charges applying are those for line rental, and calls made during weekdays.

Consumers whose current broadband deals do not run out for another month will still be able to take advantage of the promotion, which BT plans to offer until the final approach to Christmas.

And those contemplating getting online for the first time do not need to feel rushed into a decision, safe in the knowledge that the three months offer is available for the next two months.
