BT is giving UK households the opportunity to take advantage of six months' free broadband.
The broadband provider is running a new promotion offering high-speed broadband and unlimited evening and weekend calls for an initial price of just £3.50.
BT's Broadband and Evening & Weekend Calls package is ordinarily priced at £13 per month, meeting customers can save almost £60 through the introductory offer.
Subscribers receive access to up to 16Mb download speeds, a 10GB usage allowance and free Wi-Fi minutes.
This means BT customers can connect to the internet at public wireless broadband hotspots, in the same way they get online at home.
"You can get online on your laptop, netbook, iPhone, iTouch or Android phone free at over 3.5 million broadband wireless internet hotspots in the UK," BT stated.
"It's a cinch to use – just look for BT Openzone or BT FON in the list of available wireless broadband providers on your laptop and click connect."
When signing up for BT Broadband and Evening & Weekend Calls, households also receive a free landline connection - enabling them to save up to £130.
A BT Home Hub offering the firm's "strongest connection to date" is also included at no extra cost, adding to the savings possible when taking out the broadband deal.
Customers also receive basic security software and are able to save up to 50 per cent on BT telephones.
All customers are required to sign up for the broadband deal on an 18-month contract and pay BT line rental, which is priced from £10.75 per month.
BT customers have the option of upgrading to Anytime Calls for an extra £4.90 per month, allowing consumers to make landline calls at any point of the day.
