BT has boosted the appeal of its broadband packages with a new £50 Sainsbury's voucher offer.
The gift certificate is available to new customers taking out a range of BT's broadband and calls deals, taken with or without TV services.
New customers signing up for BT Unlimited Broadband and Weekend Calls are among those able to benefit from the latest deal.
Households signing up on an 18-month contract are able to take advantage of up to 16Mb download speeds, an unlimited monthly usage allowance, a free BT Home Hub, and free Wi-Fi minutes.
The ADSL broadband deal - which is half-price for 12 months - also comes with unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines.
Subscribers are required to pay just £8 per month for the first year of the contract, plus line rental from £10.75 per month.
After 12 months, the price of the broadband deal reverts to £16 per month, plus line rental.
Households seeking faster broadband speeds also have the opportunity to get their hands on a £50 Sainsbury's gift voucher.
The firm's BT Infinity Broadband and Off-Peak Calls deal offers up to 38Mb download speeds with a 40GB monthly usage allowance.
As well as evening and weekend calls, subscribers receive a free Wireless Infinity Home Hub and basic McAfee internet security software.
The broadband deal is priced at £18 per month plus line rental, while a £25 activation fee also applies.
However, customers can take advantage of a 50 per cent discount for the first three months of their 18-month deal, which allows them to save £27.
During this introductory contract period they pay just £9 per month, plus line rental, for fibre broadband and evening and weekend calls.
