BT Sport has announced details of some of the programmes set to air on its channels following next month's grand launch.

These include 'BT Sport Live' - a nightly news, information and debate show - 'BT Sport Films' - which will reveal the stories behind sports, personalities and topical issues - and 'BTSP' (BT Sports Panel) - a Saturday morning magazine show featuring "predictions, previews, reviews and laughs".

Tim Lovejoy has been confirmed as the main anchor for BTSP, and the former Sky presenter will be looking to recreate his Soccer AM magic on the new BT Sport show.

Former England rugby union international Matt Dawson - a popular team captain on BBC1's 'A Question of Sport' - will also feature on the Saturday morning panel.

'BT Sport Live' will air each night at 6:30pm on BT Sport 1, bringing viewers the latest news and debate from the world of sport.

Broadcast live from the new BT Sport studio, the show will review the best action and sporting news from the past 24 hours, and also look ahead to the upcoming programme line-up.

Outspoken football manager Neil Warnock will be a regular 'BT Sport Live' contributor, with Darren Fletcher, Vassos Alexander, Lynsey Hipgrave and Caroline de Moraes also part of the studio team.

'BT Sport Films' will be a series of one-hour documentaries looking at the back-stories behind both mainstream and niche sports, and the human challenges and achievements involved.

On August 6th, 'Silver Lining' will compare the stories of London 2012 Olympians Gemma Gibbons and Euan Burton, both of whom competed at judo last summer.

The now-married couple experienced greatly contrasting fortunes, with one winning a silver medal and the other being eliminated after just two minutes of their first bout.

Other BT Sport Films set to air in the coming weeks include 'Football Outposts' - featuring Arsenal fan, author and ex-EastEnders star Tom Watt - and 'Arise, All You Sons', which tells the tale of cricket in Papua New Guinea.

Grant Best, BT Sport’s Senior Executive Channel Producer, commented: “BT Sport is absolutely dedicated to giving fans a fresh, authoritative and innovative approach to the sports they love.

"Our exciting line-up of expert presenters and programmes from BT Sport’s state-of-the-art studios will re-imagine the way fans watch, discuss, debate and absorb sport.”
