BT Sport is to broadcast some monster clashes between the Barclays Premier League big-hitters in February 2014.

Four of the current top five teams - plus Manchester United - will feature live across five top-flight matches on BT Sport during February.

Liverpool v Arsenal and Arsenal v Manchester United are the pick of the games - and this will be the first time these Barclays Premier League fixtures have been shown live in the UK other than on Sky Sports.

But the question is, will Arsène Wenger's Gunners side still top the table in a couple of months' time? Or will the early-season optimism have faded at the Emirates going into the final few months of the campaign?

West Ham United v Swansea City gets the February action underway on BT Sport, with a 12:45pm kick-off on Saturday February 1st. The Liverpool v Arsenal game will air in the same time-slot one week later on Saturday February 8th.

Following this hotly-anticipated Anfield encounter - which could have a major bearing on the title race - the BT Sport cameras will head south for a midweek double-header.

The first stop is Wales, where Cardiff City v Aston Villa is the featured game on Tuesday February 11th (kick-off 7:45pm). And 24 hours later, there is another treat for BT Sport viewers - Arsenal v Manchester United live on BT Sport 1 on Wednesday February 12th.

It remains to be seen whether David Moyes' stuttering Red Devils will have found their form by the early spring. Will they have forced their way into the championship running by then?

After a hectic month of top-flight action, Chelsea v Everton completes BT Sport's Barclays Premier League line-up on Saturday February 22nd (kick-off 12:45pm).

Jose Mourinho's title-chasing Blues will be looking for revenge over Roberto Martinez's Everton, having lost 1-0 away at Goodison Park in September.

Simon Green, Director of BT Sport, said "the top-class games keep coming with BT Sport", with some "fabulous" fixtures lined up for the new year.

"We promised BT Sport viewers top class football action, and that’s exactly what we’re delivering," he stated.

BT Sport will also air live matches from the fourth and fifth rounds of the FA Cup during February 2014, along with a host of games from top European and global leagues.
