Consumers who are concerned about emissions will be pleased that Renault supports the new emissions testing procedure called ‘Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure’ (WLTP), a plus for consumers as it promises to provide fuel economy and emissions data which is more representative of the real-life results.
As a baseline, the Renault Clio’s EasyLife range is available across all models. You can add optional extras. In terms of powertrains, there is a new E-Tech Hybrid engine which features an Active Emergency Brake – active monitoring allows detection of pedestrians alerting drive and braking automatically in case of emergency.

Available engines are in the-something-for-everyone category with powertrain choices for those who prefer a model that is fuel efficient to one a bit more super charged.
For young drivers and those wanting a city nipper, the three-cylinder SCe with a power level of 75hp. A more versatile choice with more oomph is the TCe 100 with 100hp. More edgy and more powerful is the 1.3 litre TCe 130 Auto, which ups the ante going from 0-62 mph in nine seconds.
