We ask for your postcode, so we can identify your water supplier. We then ask you about your current water usage, such as: how many people live with you, how many baths do you take each week, and how do you wash the dishes?

Check out your results
Your results page shows an estimate of how much water your household uses. We compare this to the British average so you can judge your usage against the norm.
You can see how your current bill compares with what you would pay using a water meter. You will see if you can save money by switching to a meter.
We also suggest ways you could use less water.
Request a water meter
If you decide you would like a water meter, you can request one on our site. It’s quick and easy. All you have to do is complete your contact details. Then we pass your details onto your supplier and they contact you to organise it.
If you change your mind, all you have to do is tell your supplier when they contact you.
