Uswitch comments on energy supplier complaints data

Ofgem has this morning published data showing that complaints against the country’s biggest energy suppliers fell by 24% in 2015 compared with 2014. Commenting on the figures, Uswitch.com Director of Consumer Policy, Ann Robinson, said: “Efforts by the big six to cut complaints seem at last to be paying off. However, the number of complaints is still five million too many.

“It’s encouraging to see suppliers striving to improve, but they need to up their game even more if they are to win customers over. Consumers have a right to expect excellent service, accurate bills and value for money. Suppliers who don’t live up to expectations risk losing customers in droves.”
