HTC Sensation

The HTC Sensation is available now at a reduced price on O2, in the carrier’s latest flash sale.

Until Monday September 5th, O2 is offering HTC’s most recent Android contender for free on a £27 per month contract when customers sign up online for a 24-month deal.

As well as a gratis phone, that’ll entitle you to 300 any-time, any-network minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data per month. Released earlier this year, the Sensation takes its design cues from the HTC Legend with a unibody frame and minimal looks, but is a much more powerful bit of kit all round.

Features include Android 2.3 (aka Gingerbread) out of the box (that’s the latest version of Google’s operating system) with HTC’s social networking focussed Sense custom skin slathered over the top, a brawny 1.2GHz dual core processor and a 4.3-inch S-LCD touchscreen.

Elsewhere, it’s home to an eight-megapixel camera with touch-focus, face detection and HD video recording, a front-facing secondary snapper for video calls and offers a choice of tens of thousands of apps from the Android Market.
